Cathy Cooper Scott has worked in a creative environment for over 20 years, but is relatively new to oil painting. She started 3 years ago and has not looked back. Her abstract pieces are created on traditional canvas but also on alternative media such as mirrors, bulletin boards and glass. Her inspiraton comes from artists such as Howard Hodgkin and Mark Rothko who are masters of color evoking emotion. She believes that there is an artist inside of every person.
